Code of business conduct

At Vision Plus Media Enterprises (hereafter called “The Company”) we are committed to ethical and responsible corporate behavior.
Pillars of our Code of Conduct (hereafter called “The Code”) are trust and commitment to professionalism. We strive to include these values at any levels in which we operate as an integral part of our relationships with employees, consultants, contractors, customers, viewers, shareholders, suppliers, governments, competitors and the local communities.

The Code outlines the following:

This Code doesn’t necessarily apply to every single working context; nevertheless it serves as a general guide to each member of Vision Plus team

1. Vision Plus subscribes to the following guidelines that incorporate in this Code:

  • The United Nations (UN) Declaration of Human Rights
  • The United Nations (UN) Convention on the Rights of the Child
  • The International Labour Organisation (ILO) eight Fundamental Conventions
  • The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)
  • Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises

Ethical business conduct and fair dealing– Vision Plus employees must share and undersign their engagement in maintaining and enhancing the Company’s reputation for integrity and fairness in its business dealings. In its everyday business transactions the Company’s members are asked to be dealing even-handedly and honestly with all its customers, consumers, suppliers, employees and any other subject the Company deals with. Quality and Excellence in Work – Vision Plus ensures that its employees strive to deliver the highest quality. Our employees are always committed in working for the benefit of the customer, to fully execute the scope of a project, and if economically justifies – to exceed it. Our employees are principled and culturally sensitive professional equipped with the ability to understand the community, the needs (expressed and non-expressed) of the clients.

Commitment to Professionalism – Vision Plus employees are expected to comply with all the obligations subscribed in the name of the Company. Moreover, Vision Plus employees are expected to commit to development and improvement of themselves through training, certification, coaching and management review.

At Vision Plus we believe to have a special duty to our clients based on the unique role we serve as advisors. The following are key standards, which we strive to maintain:

Confidentiality
Vision Plus recognizes that information obtained from clients or future clients is valuable and a private matter. All information received during the course of business from a client cannot be shared or made public without the client’s prior authorization.

Due Care
Fundamental to our work is providing advice, solutions, and recommendations to clients. All Vision Plus employees will make certain that all information provided to clients is based on sound and unbiased judgment, considers all the available facts and circumstances, and includes proper management and client review.

Compliance with Laws and regulations
We expect Vision Plus employees and members to comply with the laws in all countries in which we operate. Employees who violate laws or regulations face prosecution through civil courts and disciplinary action, including possible termination of employment or affiliation with Vision Plus.

Workplace Responsibilities
Vision Plus strives to provide an environment of excellence and productivity. We are committed to providing a working environment that is free from unlawful discrimination and or harassment of any type. All incidences should be reported immediately to an employee’s supervisor, member or management.

Protection and Use of Company Assets
Vision Plus’ assets are to be used for legitimate business purposes only. Assets include both tangible and intangible assets such as proprietary software programs, models, methods, and tools and company records and files. These are protected under copyright, trademark, and patent laws. Protection and honoring of intellectual property should be reciprocal and must extend to the use of third party software of our vendors and clients.

Compliance and violations
All employees are required to comply with this Code and are personally responsible for doing so. It is the responsibility of the Board to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, that the principles and ethical values embodied in this Code are communicated to all employees of the Company. Violations of this code should be reported to the appropriate Vision Plus member or employee immediately.
